Allstars Calisthenics Academy Inc. hereby appoints you as a Coach or Assistant for the upcoming Calisthenics season. You will be required to submit to the committee, prior to the commencement of your coaching term, a copy of your current First Aide certificate if it was updated within the previous year. You will also be required to have a valid Blue Card and ACF Level One/Two qualification. As a coach of Allstars Calisthenics Academy Inc, you will conduct yourself in a professional manner, be a positive role model, and adhere to the ACF Coaches Codes of Behaviour. This includes full support of the Committee of Management and respect for any decisions made by them. If at any time, any of the above-mentioned codes/rules are breached, the Executive Committee reserve the right to take disciplinary action in accordance with the constitution. This contract will be reviewed annually by the Allstars Executive Committee, with all coaching positions declared vacant at the end of the calisthenics year, unless otherwise extended through mutual agreement between the committee, coaching selection panel and the coach. We hope you can achieve your own personal goals while helping your students to achieve theirs too in the upcoming Calisthenics year. Allstars Calisthenics Academy thanks you for your commitment to the club and wishes you every success. Below is a summary of the conditions under which you will be employed: 1. As a coach of Allstars Calisthenics Academy, you will adopt the philosophy of the club and work hard to achieve the club goals. We require you to be committed exclusively as a coach to Allstars Calisthenics Academy for the duration of your coaching contract. 2. The salary listed above covers class, camp, extra practices, competitions and all authorised Allstars events and classes. 4. If co-coaching occurs, the coaches will split the wage between them. In the instance where there are two teams and co-coaching occurs, the money can be pooled and divided evenly or unevenly as decided by the coaches in question. 5. No deduction of wages will happen if there is an absence but if more than two absences are known per term, a pro rata deduction will happen. 6. In the situation where you fill in for coach of another section due to absence or illness, you will be paid a rate of $25 per hour. 7. Allstars Calisthenics Academy will also provide: a) Fully paid accommodation at all team competitions b) Fully paid CAQI registration c) Where financially possible, the cost of professional development 8. Coaches are entitled to a maximum of two times your ordinary class time in extra practices for the year. It up to the coach how you use these hours. 9. You will arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class time. 10. You will prepare and brief assistants on the aims for the class. 11. You will be attired in appropriate Allstars/class attire. 12. Once employed by the club, any music and choreography you undertake becomes the property of Allstars Calisthenics Academy for the entire year of this contract. 13. You are responsible for selection of teams and will have the full support of the Club and Committee in making these choices. In the case where there is more than 1 team in the section you coach, you will remain responsible for all teams, even when choreography is delegated to an Assistant Coach. 14. In conjunction with the Costume Co-ordinator you are responsible for costume choices and adequate notice is required for completion of sample costumes. This includes all equipment/accessories required for the section. 15. You are responsible for the costume budget of your section which will be provided to you at the commencement of the year by the treasurer. Should you believe you will go outside this budget, it is your responsibility to request a meeting with the executive committee immediately to discuss this. 16. Any prize money won by the coach/team will be the property of the Club. 17. Trophies become the property of the coach. I accept the above position as outlined above effective from 1st January to 31st December 2024.
