Cali Unite - SDG Competition - July 2024

Allstars Calisthenics Academy will be hosting a Convention & SDGT Competition on the 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th July 2024, it is a requirement that all club families assist over this time, regardless of whether their child is competing in an S/D/G/T or not. This is our major fundraiser of the year and many hands make light work. If you have a particular job you would like to nominate please select from the list below. If you have no preference please select Sign Me Up.

Ticket Table (involves selling tickets, programs & merchandise and allocating wrist bands of pre purchased tickets)

Marshalling ( involves collecting performers & their coach and taking them side stage)

Set Up Crew (involves arriving Friday afternoon to assist with the setup)

Clean Up Crew (involves arriving Sunday afternoon to assist with the cleanup)

Writer (experience is required, involves sitting with the adjudicator and writing feedback on the performers critique)

MC (involves welcoming audience & introducing each competitor to the stage all from a script)

Timing & Assessing (involves collecting critique sheets for final performer results, there will be opportunities to learn from experienced timers & assessors)

Side Stage Door (ensuring the next competitor is side stage ready for their performance)

Theatre Door (opening the theatre door in between performers to allow for spectators to enter or exit the theatre)

Competition Dates *

Competitions are compulsory, current dates and times are yet to be confirmed for 2023, please look out for an event notification on team app advising of details.

I understand there are 3 compulsory competitions, (2 x regional competitions and 1 x QLD state competition) and dates will be provided to me when they become available. Additionally, I am aware my pupils age section may fall on a Friday of a competition weekend and I will be required to make arrangements for my pupil to attend.
